For me, it's always about texture. From the flooring, to the fabrics, to the tile and countertops. You should walk into the room and love how it looks and feels, literally and figuratively. I put together this concept with texture as my main focus, with lots of natural elements and soft neutrals with subtle muted pops of colors. Click the images below to shop the products.

Let's start with the warm and neutral wood tones with the engineered flooring and the rattan bar stool. Nothing says boho more than rattan. The cabinet and wall color would be a soft warmish white allowing for a pop of blue/green color on the island. The runner has bold pops of color to compliment the island, but keep the pattern more vintage feeling to add to that boho theme.

The countertops would be ideal in a leathered or honed marble or quartzite stone, keeping it natural as opposed to a man-made quartz. I'm on a complete honed/leathered kick right now and don't think there's a single stone out there that doesn't look good finished this way. To compliment the countertops and cabinets, keep the backsplash tile neutral. But that doesn't mean it has to be boring! This zellige style tile adds amazing texture with a handmade look and feel. I would keep the grout soft and neutral with just a bit of color. For window treatments, I would keep it simple with roman shades using this neutral fabric.

To finish it all off, bling it up with the cabinet hardware and lighting. I love a bold pendant and these definitely make a modern statement to compliment the the natural boho elements. For cabinet hardware, you can't go wrong with a brushed gold and love the modern feel of these.

Happy styling! And don't forget to tag me in any of your projects. I love to see how you use my recommendations!
